If I could sum up the one element that sets us apart from other clinics I would have to say our staff.
Smart, funny, energetic and passionate about what they do, genuine in their care of our clients.

Kathy Carson
Practice Manager

Josie Caruso (pictured far left) - Support Staff Team Leader and her team of Receptionists and Physiotherapy aides. 
Josie is responsible for coordinating client services, providing administrative support to our Therapists, accounting and clerical staff training and supervision.

Tom Carson – Principal Physiotherapist

Qualifications: Bachelor of Science – Monash University 1989
Bachelor of Physiotherapy with Honours - University of Qld 1993
Association membership: Australian Physiotherapy Association
Member Sports Physiotherapy Australia. Non – titled
Member Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy Australia. Non – titled
Member Physiotherapy Business Australia
My role: Tom treats all types of conditions in the clinic. He also coordinates our home visiting and nursing home services. As the Principal, Tom is responsible for implementing and supporting ongoing education and training of our Physiotherapy staff.
Tom is the Physiotherapist to Sandgate Hawks AFL club.
Special areas of interest: Neck pain and headaches, Aged care
In my spare time: Tom likes to Cycle, play Tennis, support the Brisbane Lions and spend lots of time with his family
Personal achievements: Owning a successful Physio practice and having our twins (Billy and Lucy)

Kathy Carson – Practice manager/ Remedial & Sports Massage Therapist

Qualifications: Certificate IV Massage Therapy – ACNM 1996
 Diploma of Applied Science Remedial Massage Therapy – ACNM 1997

Member Australian Institute of Management
My role: Although Kathy still treats a few clients, the majority of her work day is spent managing the day to day operations of our practice. Kathy is responsible for client service standards, staff selection and development, and implementing and supporting ongoing education and training of our Massage therapy, Clerical and Physio aide staff.
Special areas of interest: Educating people about how important Physiotherapists & Massage Therapists are to health care.
In my spare time: Kathy likes to keep fit by walking, going to the Beach, reading, movies, music and family get togethers with great food.
Personal achievements: My family first and foremost and providing employment to and working alongside a group of really amazing and talented people.

Jannine James – Senior Physiotherapist

Qualifications: Bachelor of Physiotherapy - University of Qld 1998
My role: Jannine treats all types of conditions in the clinic. As a senior Physiotherapist, Jannine uses her clinical experience to teach and mentor other Physiotherapy & Massage therapy staff. Jannine has extensive experience in private practice and has previously worked in the UK.
Special areas of interest: Lower limb biomechanics/orthotics and pelvic floor re-education
In my spare time: Jannine enjoys running for fitness, reading, soccer and renovating her house.
Personal achievements: Found a great job close to home, married Richard and fell pregnant with our first child, all within a 12- month period. I’ve also climbed Mt Sinai (Egypt) just to watch the sunrise.

Susan McLean – Physiotherapist & Clinical Pilates Instructor

Level 1 & 2 Clinical Pilates - Dance Medicine Australia 2005

Member Sports Physiotherapy Australia. Non – titled
Member International Association of Dance Medicine and Science
My role: Sue treats all types of conditions in the clinic. As a trained Jazz and Ballet dancer, Sue has a keen interest in treating dance injuries and attends dance schools teaching injury prevention and dance specific Pilates. Most recently Sue has been working with the Boondall figure skating club providing Pilates classes for the skaters. Sue is the coordinator of our clinical Pilates classes and teaches several groups each week.
Special areas of interest: Musculoskeletal, sports and orthopaedic Physiotherapy. Neurological and musculoskeletal rehabilitation.
In my spare time: Sue plays touch football, likes travelling, dancing, going to live concerts, the rugby and cricket. Sue also enjoys eating “good” chocolate.
Personal achievements: Travelling through Europe on my own

Emily Jones – Physiotherapist & Clinical Pilates instructor

Qualifications:
Bachelor of Physiotherapy – University of Queensland 2007
Pilates Matwork level 1 & 2 – QLD Institute of Pilates

My Role: Emily treats all types of conditions in the clinic.
With an interest in post surgical and sports rehabilitation, Emily has developed programs and achieved excellent results with treatments both in the clinic and in the water. Emily is the coordinator of our Aquatic Physiotherapy program and uses these skills to enhance her range of treatment options for her clients.    
Special areas of interest:
Rehabilitation for sports injury, work injury and surgery
In my spare time:
Emily loves to travel, goes to the gym, reads crime novels and plays competitive beach volleyball.
Personal achievements:
Graduating with my degree and then traveling to the UK to celebrate.

Neil Whillans –Sports Massage Therapist/Acupuncturist & Clinical Pilates Instructor

Qualifications: Diploma of Applied Science Acupuncture- ACNM 1995
Post graduate certificate of Sports Massage – QLD Academy of Sport 1999
Level 1 Physiotherapist Matwork Intensive – Qld Institute of Pilates
Association membership: Fellow Australian Acupuncture & Chinese Medicine Association
My role: Neil provides sports & remedial massage treatments together with Musculoskeletal Acupuncture to treat a broad range of sports and non-sports related conditions. Neil is highly experienced with elite sports teams including Brisbane Broncos, Brisbane Lions, Australian Netball team and Olympic and QAS athletes. As a Clinical Pilates Instructor, Neil teaches in our group Pilates classes.
Special areas of interest: Chronic pain, sports injury prevention, pregnancy related pain
In my spare time: Neil enjoys cycling, tennis, fishing, boating and spending time with his girls (Brooke and Lauren)
Personal achievements: Representing Australia in Baseball. Finally getting my house built.
My work and the difference I make to peoples health is a personal achievement for me.

Brian Jordan – Sports & Remedial Massage Therapist

My Role: Brian provides sports & remedial massage treatments for a broad range of sports and non-sports related conditions.
Special areas of interest:
Treatment of headache, neck and back pain
In my spare time:
Apart from spending lots of time with his family, Brian is a keen cyclist, enjoys Taekwon-do and running for fitness
Personal achievements:
Successfully having a career change in my 30’s, marrying my wife and having our two daughters

Cassandra Jeffs – Massage & Holistic Spa Therapist

Qualifications: Certificate in Massage Therapy – AIAS 2003
Diploma in Bowen Therapy – Bowtech institute 2004
Association membership: Association of Massage Therapists Australia
My role: Cassie provides massage for the purpose of improved general health and well-being.
Having previously worked in a top Brisbane Day Spa, Cassie is experienced in all forms of spa treatments. Cassie is also a practising Bowen therapist.
Special areas of interest: Holistic health, stress management through massage, relaxation, pregnancy and aromatherapy massage.
In my spare time: Drawing, painting, sculpting, gardening, fishing and spending time with my cats (Apache and Shadow)
Personal achievements: My work is extremely rewarding, just knowing that what I do is such a tremendous help to people is an achievement
